Summer Brunch at the Stoned Crab was EPIC! Mind you, this isn’t my usual brunch spot but a good friend recommended that I visit for their Sunday Brunch so I decided to check it out.
Where is it Located?
The Stoned Crab is located to the left of the entrance of Taino Beach, right before you get to Pirate’s Cove. It’s situated right on the beach and with gorgeous architecture that gives us the option to eat inside or outside. Inside the Décor is very modern-day chic while outside you get that real beach paradise, vacation vibes. During special occasions, you can find a cute backdrop to celebrate. The place also has GREAT spots for photos!
Specialty Drink Menu
Walking into the restaurant brought me back to when I did one of my first episodes here with the bartender Cris Donte. He made me one of each of their specialty drinks. I tasted the over-the-top Bloody Mary, the Basil Lemon Splash, The Fever Grass Gin & Tonic, and a special tropical specialty drink. Rating them from most to least favorite, I would have to say the Basil Lemon Splash is my number 1. Followed by the Fever Grass Gin & Tonic, The special tropical drink, and last but not least the Bloody Mary. You can watch that short episode right here.
Brunch begins at 11 am and it was quite a shock how many people were already there when I arrived. There were lots of families seated outside and more of a casual crowd seated on the outside. I decided to sit in the bar area and enjoyed the Basil Lemon Splash. Their Brunch menu gives you many options from many cuisines. They also offer vegan options for brunch. Check below to see the Brunch Menu:
I ordered the English Breakfast and the Mango Shrimp Caesar Salad. Also added the Chicken and waffles and a mimosa (because what’s brunch without mimosas). I will admit, due to the Brunch crowd the food did take some time to come out. I moved to a bigger table once all the food came out.
The English Breakfast offered a tiered display. The bottom tier consisted of toast and scrambled eggs. Middle Tier has jams/ jelly, croissants, and a mini Caprese salad. The top level has cold cuts, cheeses, and a cucumber salad. Definitely an excellent starter for Brunch and paired well with my mimosa.
Next up was the Mango Shrimp Salad. The colorful presentation, the fresh veggies, and seasoned shrimp on top with the mango vinaigrette dressing were the star of this summer brunch! I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. The portion size was perfect and it didn’t leave me feeling too full.
Lastly, I took one bite of my Chicken and Waffles. Once again, the presentation was simple and clean. The chicken was battered, fluffy, and absolutely tender. The waffles were standard. I packed it up to go because I didn’t want to overstuff myself.

They are also open for dinner Wednesday – Saturday 1 pm- 11 pm.
